Tubby Tuesday: Shut Your Mouth Peach Pie

 Baby wants what baby gets and this weekend my baby wanted Peach Pie...I LOVE this recipe...Delish! This crust is to die for btw; it's SO good!

1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 tb sugar
1/2 cup butter, chilled and cubed
4 tb cold water
1 tb white vinegar 

Mix flour, salt, sugar, and butter until crumbly. Slowly mix in the water and vinegar until the dough holds together. Roll the dough into a ball and divide in half. Wrap both halves in plastic wrap and place in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
Pie Filling
5 cups sliced, fresh peaches
1 cup sugar
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 cup flour

Combine all of the ingredients....This is delicious...seriously....

After the dough has chilled, roll one ball out to be the base of your pie. After it's rolled, place it in the pie pan and bake it for about 10 min at 375 degrees.

While the crust is baking, roll out the other ball of dough and use a pizza cutter to slice it into strips.

After the crust has baked for 10 minutes, pour the filling into the crust.

Weave yourself a pretty little design for the top of the pie, and stick it in the oven.

Bake in the 375 degree oven for 45-60 minutes. Let cool at least 30 minutes before slicing to allow the juices to set.
